Nice has launched of the Nice Sun Shades Power and Control Panel, which were designed to provide an efficient and streamlined installation approach to motorized shading.

With demand for motorized shades on the rise—89% of residential projects in 2023 included shades—Nice is enhancing its ecosystem to help partners capitalize on this growing opportunity. With more than two decades of experience, Nice has established itself as a trusted provider of high-performance motors for both residential and commercial applications.

“Our partners rely on us for powerful, reliable motor technology that drives their shading solutions,” said Senthoor Navaratnam, chief product officer for Nice North America. “With the Nice Sun Shades Power and Control Panel, we’re enhancing the ease of install and scalability of our shade motors, giving partners the confidence to deliver seamless, high-quality shading systems for any project.”

The Nice Sun Shades Power and Control Panel is built to handle a wide variety of shading configurations. Its modular design features include the DMDM Module, which supports up to 50 motors for large-scale installations; the DMBD GW Module, which manages up to 30 bi-directional radio channels for enhanced control; and the DMPBD Module, which enables seamless power distribution across connected components.

To ensure that partners can deploy these advanced systems effectively, Nice provides comprehensive support, including hands-on training and in-field assistance. This ensures every partner is fully equipped to deliver top-tier shading solutions with confidence. The Nice Sun Shades Power and Control Panel also integrates with leading home automation platforms like Crestron, Savant, and Control4, offering partners the flexibility to tailor solutions to their clients’ needs.

The launch of the Nice Sun Shades Power and Control Panel expands on the company’s offering in the shading industry. In addition to its selection of motors, last year Nice launched its first line of smart sun shades to deliver highly customizable and durable interior and exterior shading solutions for the home.

Nice partners can order the Sun Shades Power and Control panel through the Nice Store. To learn more about Nice Sun Shades, click here.
