Any manufacturer of residential tech products, systems, or solutions may apply. Entries should relate to activities conducted from October 2024 – October 2025.

Judging Criteria:

Shortlist selections are evaluated based on:

  • Attention to detail in submission.

  • Essential criteria of innovation (Impact, Unique Selling Proposition, Key Metrics, etc).


The Residential Tech Today Advisory Board will serve as the panel of judges who ultimately review all submissions.

Tips & Suggestions:

  • Carefully and thoughtfully fill out each section of the submission form with as much detail as possible.

  • Images, videos, and supporting documents are welcome.

  • You may submit more than one entry form so long as each entry represents a different product.

Residential Tech Today’s executive editor Jeremy Glowacki is an editorial veteran with more than 20 years of professional experience with numerous publications. In 2000, he helped create and launch Residential Systems, a business and technology magazine for the custom integration business. He served as day-to-day editor of that title and content director of the CEDIA Daily, Systems Contractor News, and several other B2B titles until joining Innovative Properties Worldwide in 2018. Jeremy was named a CEDIA Fellow in 2012.

During his time in the industry, the Silver Certified Crestron programmer specialized in the design, development, and installation of automation, building management, and energy management systems for residential and commercial buildings.

Henry Clifford

Henry Clifford founded Richmond, VA-based Livewire in 2001 to meet the growing demand for technologically integrated homes and businesses. In 2018, he co-founded Parasol, a remote service support company, and has served on the CEDIA Board of Directors. His latest venture was the recent launch of IntegrateU, a professional onboarding service for the custom integration industry.

Michael Heiss

Michael Heiss is a former product and marketing executive at Harman International, responsible for many breakthrough audio and video products. Additionally, he was a promotion manager at NBC and a key player in hotel in-room movie development, eventually leading to him creating the first nationwide movie rental service for Beta and VHS cassettes. Heiss served two terms on the CEDIA Board and led their Technology Council. He is also a CEDIA Fellow, recipient of CEDIA’s Lifetime Achievement Award, a member of the TV Academy, the Society of Broadcast Engineers, and a Life Member of both IEEE and SMPTE.
