This week, Jason Griffing joins us from Littleton, Colorado, where he is director of product at OneVision Resources. Jason and Jeremy have known each other for a while, first as fellow guests on AV Nation’s Resi Week podcast while Jason was director of business development for the custom integration company Harrison Home Systems. Then he moved on from there and through the ranks at OneVision, the company that has made an art out of outsourced remote service for the CI channel. OneVision has a new service called ProVision that we’re going to learn more about in our conversation. This week, Ted Green joins us from Metuchen, NJ, where he is president of the The Stratecon Group, a strategic marketing company for the consumer electronics industry. Ted’s career spans more than 30 years, all in the CE business. His work has taken him from mass merchant & specialty retailing…to manufacturing, distribution, and... now strategic marketing and journalism. He may be best known for his influential and sometimes controversial Stata-GEE newsletter, which gained a ton of new subscribers, recently, thanks to his reporting on the challenges facing CEDIA Expo planners as the Covid-19 Delta Variant led to a mass exodus of exhibitors just weeks before that show. I consider Ted a good friend and I appreciate how he ruffles feathers in the industry, just as long as I’m not the subject of any of his stories.
