BleedIO Tech, as a first-time exhibitor at CEDIA Expo featured its netMESH, which is based on the new Bluetooth Mesh standard. An alternative to traditional smart home standards, Bluetooth Mesh promises a decentralized, self-healing, and self-organizing network.

“During CEDIA 2024, we had more than 90 home integrators sign up for pilot tests of our groundbreaking netMESH product,” said Lee Beup, BleedIO Tech CMO. “Additionally, several smart home manufacturers have expressed interest in incorporating netMESH to expand connectivity options for their devices.”

BleedIO Tech’s netMESH is a software solution based on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh standard. Unlike traditional IoT networks that rely on centralized hubs, netMESH’s decentralized, self-healing, and self-organizing network eliminates single points of failure, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of individual device failures.

“netMESH is more than just a solution, it’s a paradigm shift in how IoT networks are designed and managed,” said Stan Podolski, CEO of BleedIO Tech. “We are excited by the overwhelming interest at CEDIA Expo as integrators and manufacturers recognize that netMESH is a game-changer for the smart home industry. With netMESH, we’re addressing some of the most pressing challenges in IoT — downtime, poor interoperability, and complex network management — while setting new standards for network resilience and security.”

netMESH can be seamlessly integrated into various smart home and industrial applications, offering cost savings and operational efficiencies. Additionally, key advantages of netMESH include:

  • Redundancy and hubless networks: netMESH eliminates the need for a central hub, ensuring there is no single point of failure. This guarantees that smart home devices remain fully functional without dependency on Wi-Fi or internet connections.
  • Low latency: Devices connected via netMESH react in real-time, providing seamless and instant responses.
  • Built-in security: netMESH is designed with robust security features to protect devices and networks from potential vulnerabilities, such as hackers.

BleedIO Tech is looking to “push the boundaries of IoT networking” with netMESH, setting a “new standard in connectivity, reliability, and security for smart homes and technology enabled businesses across the globe.”

BleedIO Tech’s vision and technological know-how related to the new standard (BLE MESH) have solved the shortcomings related to IoT. Facilitating change, BleedIO Tech is making compelling cases to move the “monitoring” community from the status quo, to a risk-managed future state, allowing companies to fulfill the promise, and optimize the performance of, existing and embedded monitoring infrastructure and investments.
