With Spring weather hitting many areas of the U.S., Bond, makers of the Bond Bridge Smart platform, is promoting its ability to control pergolas, outdoor lighting, heating, and cooling, as well as its outdoor weather sensor and low voltage LED outdoor lighting dimmer.
Bond’s RF-to-WiFi platform now controls many appliances used in outdoor residential and commercial settings. This includes awnings, pergola louvers, heating and cooling, ceiling fans, solar shades and screens, and lighting. And according to Bond’s user surveys, this is exactly what the category demands.
The RF-to-WiFi Bond Bridge Pro hub and companion Bond Home App bring Smartphone and home automation system control to remote-controlled appliances. The App brings new capabilities like scheduling and integration with voice assistance platforms Alexa, Hey Google, and SmartThings.
Bond has developed partnerships with exterior sun/solar/hurricane shades brands MagnaTrack, Universal Screens, SunPro, TEXTON, BTX, TWO USA, Bon, and Draper, and is now compatible with Azenco’s pergola louvers and many of the often-integrated non-motorized solutions like low-voltage outdoor lighting, heating, and cooling systems.
Bond recently debuted its Outdoor Pro Series, which consists of a weather sensor and an outdoor lighting dimmer and the Breeze Pro, which is a smart wind/rain/sunlight sensor that can trigger multiple motorized screens, pergola louvers, and shutters based on user-defined thresholds.
Used in conjunction with the Bond Bridge Pro ($379 MSRP), the Breeze Pro is an all-in-one ultrasonic sensor, leveraging integrated proprietary technology, that provides real-time weather data, signal strength, and battery status to the Bond App. The sensor offers users and dealers wire-free installation, and setup within the Bond App is simple. Power is either built-in solar or battery. MSRP is set at $599.
Firefly One is a smart dimmer that enables wireless control of low voltage LED outdoor lighting. It enables users to adjust brightness, set schedules, and view the status of different zones directly in the Bond Home App. The dimmer integrates a built-in proprietary Bond Wi-Fi chip and is compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi home systems. MSRP is set at $149.
