Chowmainsoft has just launched their new marketplace for home automation system drivers. The marketplace is the world’s largest of its type. It offers more than 350 drivers across 160 unique manufacturer brands and nine control systems.
Chowmainsoft is a well-known brand to professional integrators developing smart home systems for customers. They are a leader in the development of drivers for the integration of 3rd party devices and services with the most popular professionally installed smart home platforms including Control4, Crestron, Crestron Home, Fibaro, Nice Home Management (ELAN), Q-SYS, RTI, Savant, and URC.
Chowmainsoft was founded in 2013 by Alan Chow, a smart home veteran who has worked in the industry for almost 20 years. Alan has even earned the prestigious Golden Paul award given to people deemed the most influential in the industry.
All drivers are developed by Chowmainsoft’s in-house driver development team. Team members have backgrounds in home automation manufacturing, distribution, and installation. They work closely with control system and product manufacturers with the goal of designing and developing feature-rich and easy-to-install drivers.
The development of more than half of the drivers offered through the marketplace have been sponsored by a manufacturer and are available as a free download. Additional drivers that Chowmainsoft has invested to develop themselves are offered at very reasonable prices.
All of Chowmainsoft’s drivers include technical support. Chowmainsoft provides technical support to integrators five days a week for 19 hours each day via tickets, chat and UK/US/AU phone numbers. Support is provided by Chowmainsoft team members in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
According to Chow, “Chowmainsoft is dedicated solely to drivers. Our focus on driver development and support ensures the success of our partners, be they integrators, home automation manufacturers, or product manufacturers. The marketplace is the next logical step in providing top-level service to our partners.”
