As it continues to operate during a period of rapid growth, Coastal Source announced the additional of Ravi Raghunandan as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In the role, Raghunandan will be responsible for managing and overseeing Coastal Source’s customer experience and technical support teams in addition to their supply chain, product and warehouse, and human resources departments.
“Coastal Source has more than doubled in size over the last three years, and our increasingly complex operational infrastructure requires the seasoned expertise that Ravi brings to our company,” Coastal Source Founder and CEO Franco D’Ascanio said in a statement. “His proven experience will help us to successfully meet the needs of our customers as we continue to expand our product and service offerings.”
Raghunandan brings a wealth of operations experience to his new role at Coastal Source. Immediately prior to joining the team, he was the Senior Vice President of Operations at Kenrose Perfumery. There, Raghunandan led a company-wide transformation that helped improve operational efficiency by 40 percent and resulted in a 48 percent revenue increase. Prior to that, he was the Senior Director of Operations at Twisted Throttle and Senior Director of Operations at DENALI Electronics.
