Chamberlain Group (CG) and Crestron have announced a new integration that will allow homeowners to control CG’s myQ smart access solution from their Crestron Home platform.
The official myQ driver for Crestron Home OS provides control of myQ powered garage door/gate openers, in addition to compatible lighting devices.

“We’re thrilled to add Crestron Home as an official myQ integration as we continue to offer more options for homeowners and dealers to create smart homes,” said Kiel Fitzgerald, senior director and GM of myQ Residential Partnerships at Chamberlain Group. “By combining the power of myQ’s smart access ecosystem with Crestron’s smart home automation, we’re providing even greater value to users.”
myQ turns any garage into a smart garage by allowing users to open, close, and control access to the garage door from anywhere. The app provides real-time alerts that let users know when the garage door opens and if it was left open or scheduling when the garage door closes each night. With myQ, users can remotely control access for friends, family, or service providers without the need to share keys or pin codes.
“We are incredibly excited about our new partnership with Chamberlain Group, bringing the power of myQ into the Crestron Home ecosystem, further promoting our open ecosystem philosophy, and providing our customers with the best solutions from across the entire smart home landscape,” said Michael Short, senior director of residential marketing at Crestron. “By bringing myQ-powered garage door/gate openers fully into Crestron Home, we continue to elevate the Crestron Home experience even further for our customers. We are truly delighted at this partnership, which allows us to offer even more value and innovation to our customers while expanding the reach of myQ to a wider audience.”
