CEDIA Expo, the platform where residential technology integration, designers and construction professionals connect, learn and engage, announces the return of The Launchpad, a platform dedicated to showcasing new-to-market brands and the latest residential technology solutions. At CEDIA Expo 2024, attendees have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the future of residential technology by exploring the latest advancements and innovations from a new generation of industry trailblazers.

“The Launchpad offers an invaluable platform for visitors to engage directly with the founders of these pioneering companies, providing insights into their cutting-edge solutions and the inspiration behind their innovations,” said Jason McGraw, CTS, group vice president for Emerald. “It’s a chance to be among the first to experience transformative new products and solutions that are set to expand the landscape of the custom installation industry.”

The Launchpad will spotlight brands that have been in business for less than three years and have never exhibited at CEDIA Expo. This platform offers emerging companies a unique opportunity to introduce their brands and groundbreaking technologies to a diverse audience of industry professionals and influencers.

Current brands participating in The Launchpad at CEDIA Expo 2024 include:

  • Applied Sensor Co. (ASC) develops cost-effective smart textile technologies, turning any textile into a smart one, integrating sensors into surfaces while preserving visual appeal and comfort.
  • Aqa Technologies, set to launch at CEDIA Expo 2024, provides modern, secure networking tools for professionals.
  • AVgator Inc., specializes in Crestron programming and GUI development with certified programmers and designers, leveraging over 24,000 hours annually to handle hundreds of projects with varying configurations and complexity.
  • BleedIO is revolutionizing mesh device interactions with BLE Mesh Interoperability Suite, setting the stage for a more seamlessly connected and interoperable future.
  • FYE Labs accelerates the journey from idea to minimum viable product in months or weeks using its pioneering innovation-as-a-service (IaaS) model, simplifying and de-risking new product development.
  • HiFi Vibe offers a Multi-Sensory Stimulation System that delivers True Sine Wave excitation, the most effective and healthy form of vibration, and can be seamlessly added to most furniture in minutes. With Bluetooth connectivity, users can control both the media and the intensity of stimulation directly from their smart devices.
  • mui Lab, Inc. is a Kyoto-based technology startup that designs IoT “calm” interfaces inspired by the Taoist philosophy of “mui shizen” for a peaceful digital living experience. Their flagship product, the “mui” wooden touch panel, seamlessly blends tradition with innovation to serve as a smart home control hub.
  • Prado America designs and manufactures unique lighting collections, sockets and push buttons to seamlessly integrate invisible home technology into ceilings.
  • WINT Water Intelligence is dedicated to advancing water management in buildings and facilities, aiming to cut environmental impact and operating costs by controlling water flow, reducing leak damage and eliminating waste and its related carbon emissions.

In previous years, The Launchpad has been instrumental in the debut of several leading industry brands, including AXIS, Dejero, Domotz, guardDog.ai, Josh.ai, and HDMI Staffing. These companies leveraged The Launchpad to gain crucial exposure and establish themselves within the custom installation community.
