Water damage is one of the biggest and most expensive problems homeowners face and in 93 percent of cases, it could have been prevented. GROHE’s Sense and Sense Guard water management systems were designed to offer reliable protection against water damage by monitoring a home for leaks, excess mold-causing moisture, and temperature changes to prevent busted pipes.

Leveraging smart technology for detection and prevention, the Sense sends an alert to a smartphone app, notifying you at the first sign of a leak while the Sense Guard allows you to shut of your water source remotely.

The Sense Smart Water Sensor is available on Grohe.us for $104. Features and benefits include:

  • Easy installation – Sense can be set up quickly and easily throughout the home in just 10 minutes. Set up under kitchen or bathroom faucets, near the hot water heater or next to a washing machine – anywhere where the risk of leaks or flooding is a potential issue
  • Detects flooding – when water touches the base of the sensor due to leaks or flooding, GROHE Sense alerts instantly via app and email so you have time to react
  • Monitors humidity levels to cut the risk of condensation and mold
  • Detects frost risk

The Sense Guard Smart Water Controller is available for $801. This product is installed directly on a water line in the household and has the ability to detect pipe bursts – and shut off the water supply automatically while sending an alert to your smartphone. GROHE Sense Guard also detects micro leaks and dripping faucets, monitors water pressure and flow, detects frost risk and monitors water consumption – helping keep water bills under control.
