At CES 2025, LG unveiled its latest home entertainment projectors, offering a new way to experience big-screen viewing in compact form. Leading the charge is the LG CineBeam S, which LG claims to be the smallest ultra-short throw (UST) 4K projector on the market.
Stunning Picture Quality in a Small Package
Despite its diminutive size, the CineBeam S doesn’t skimp on performance. The projector supports both HDR formats, including HDR10 and HLG, as well as standard dynamic range (SDR) content. It also stands out with impressive color reproduction, covering 154 percent of the DCI-P3 color space—the standard used in the mastering of most HDR content.
Ultra-Compact and Powerful
Weighing just 2.5 kg and measuring only 110mm in width, 160mm in depth, and 160mm in height, the CineBeam S (model PU615U) is capable of projecting a 100-inch image from just a few inches away. Its RGB laser-powered projection system delivers a stunning 3840×2160 resolution with 500 ANSI Lumens of brightness and a striking 450,000:1 contrast ratio.
Convenient Setup and User-Friendly Features
In addition to its sleek and compact design, the CineBeam S offers a range of features to make setup and use as easy as possible. These include Auto Screen Adjustment, Wall Color Adjustment, and Screen Scaling/Shifting, ensuring the projector can be conveniently placed in any room.
All-in-One Entertainment
The CineBeam S also comes equipped with built-in stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos decoding, so you don’t always need an external audio system for movie nights. Thanks to LG’s WebOS smart system, you can stream content directly from popular services without needing to connect an external device.
Flexible Connectivity Options
For those who prefer connecting external devices, such as a 4K Blu-ray player or gaming console, the CineBeam S offers an HDMI port, along with support for wireless playback from Android and iOS devices.
Big Screen, Small Product
With its impressive performance, compact design, and smart features, the LG CineBeam S offers a new way to enjoy home entertainment in 2025, proving that you don’t need a large projector to experience big-screen quality.
