Narwal Announces the Narwal S10 Pro Wet & Dry Vacuum Mop

A robotic vacuum/mop is an ideal tool for eliminating the day after day drudgery of keeping the floors in a home clean. However, when you need to spot clean a spill, or just give the kitchen a quick cleaning right before your guests arrive for a dinner party, programming a robot vacuum/mop to clean the area you want with a smart phone app can be more work than its worth. The brand new Narwal S10 Pro Wet & Dry Vacuum Mop is the ideal tool for these kinds of situations, or for someone with an apartment that only has hard flooring.

Narwal Robotics was founded in 2016 and is located in Kowloon, Hong Kong, China. Today, they have more than 1.8 million global users in over 30 countries and regions. Narwal has won prestigious international awards, including the Edison Gold Award, honoring innovation, and Time Magazine’s Best Inventions. Narwal is now one of the top five robotic cleaning manufacturers in the world, with more than $200 million in annual sales and serving over 1.8 million households.

The S10 Pro Wet & Dry Vacuum Mop is a self-propelled, cordless, stick vacuum mop that weighs under 10 pounds. It offers 50 minutes of battery life and can clean an area up to 3,200 sq. ft. on a single charge.

S10 Pro includes many of the same technologies that Narwal includes in their high-end robotic vacuum/mops. First, it automatically detects the level of floor dirtiness and adjust its suction power and water dispensing levels to optimally clean the floor. Or, the user can select the settings they want, including MAX Mode that increases cleaning efficiency by 200%.

Again, like Narwal’s high-end robotic vacuum/mops, the S10 Pro’s docking station will automatically clean and dry the mop. You simply press the “Self-Clean” button, and the device begins a 10-part cleaning process that automatically scrubs, cleans, disinfects, and dries its roller brush, pipes, and filters. Using electrolyzed water for germ-free cleaning, the brush will rotate until all unwanted hair and stain residue is gone. Finally, it will dry itself in 30 minutes or less.

My one wish for the S10 Pro is that it included a mode that didn’t use water. Then the S10 Pro could be used to clean carpets and rugs instead of just hard floors; even if that meant always cleaning hard floors last so the roller brush would be dry when cleaning carpets and rugs.

The S10 Pro is a great companion product for people that own a robotic vacuum and want a simple solution for spot cleaning spills or touching up the cleanliness of areas of hard flooring in their home. It could also be used as a total hard flooring solution for people that live in a small apartment or condo. However, if you have a mixture of hard flooring and carpets or rugs, you will also need a vacuum as the S10 Pro always cleans using a combination of water and suction.
