PROLUXE by American Lighting showcased its customizable lighting solutions at CEDIA Expo 2024. Jennifer Kirkpatrick, director of sales, described to Residential Tech Today her company’s introduction of the ChromaDMX downlight as well as partnerships with Josh.ai, Leon Speakers, Control4, and Vantage to provide integrators with a fully seamless lighting integration.
A key introduction for PROLUXE at CEDIA was the new ChromaDMX downlight, offering versatile color temperature and RGB+TW capabilities. ChromaDMX is the latest advancement in DMX-controllable hard-wired downlighting. The 4” small aperture and low-profile housing ensures the downlight can be used throughout any project.
Completely field-modifiable, the ChromaDMX can be installed as a static downlight or a hot-aiming downlight with optical lens accessories. The ChromaDMX can produce more than 1-trillion color combinations with its RGB+TW, COB LED technology.
With its combination of static downlight and field-adjustable gimbal (hot-aiming) ChromaDMX provides 363-degree rotation angles and 0- to 40-degree aiming angles.
Out-of-the-box accessories for standard, trimless, and adjustable gimbal installations are included with every kit.
ChromaDMX includes intelligent power scaling that, when at full power, maximize 1000-plus lumen output by diverting to white LEDs when RGB is not used.
The fixtures include field-installable optics for 25- (native), 45-, and 60-degree beam spread and are available with full-color tunable and tunable white Vantage LHUMAN KolorTune profiles and well as with direct integration with Control4 (3.3+ compatible) via Artnet Gtwy.
At CEDIA Expo, PROLUXE also emphasized its focus on educating and supporting integrators through training programs and virtual support. The company aims to help integrators grow their business by tapping into the expanding lighting integration market, providing customizable and integrated lighting solutions.
