The Kick Ass Outdoor Shades (KAOS) – easily one of the greatest product names you’ll ever find – have been among the most popular lines for Screen Innovations since launch. The company announced this week that it’s making improvements to the outdoor shade by adding the Zen Outdoor Shades features and extending the maximum size up KAOS from 20 feet to 24 feet, among other upgrades.
SI explained that KAOS is built around a patented V-Screen Retention System, which is designed to be exceptionally sturdy, holding the shade structure. Adding onto that the Zen Outdoor Shade features – namely the hurricane-resistant Kevlar fabric options – means the line will be sturdy and able to withstand high wind speeds.
“Our dealers asked, and we listened,” Kim Parker, President of Screen Innovations, said in a statement. “Our dealers loved the Zen installation but wanted the KAOS high-wind benefits, so we combined both to create the strongest, most installation friendly, robust, outdoor shade system available today.”
KAOS Outdoor Shades are known for their ease of installation, taking about half the amount of time as other systems thanks to their quick clip mounting mechanisms. The all-new SI Outdoor Motors used in the product make KAOS compatible Bond and the SI ecosystem.
