Shelly Group earned Samsung SmartThings certification for nine additional Shelly Wave devices. Operating on Z-Wave technology, these Shelly Wave devices enhance interoperability within smart home networks, providing reliable and secure connections.

Building on the success of the previously certified Shelly Wave Plug US, this milestone reinforces Shelly Group’s commitment to delivering seamless, highly compatible smart home experiences for users worldwide.

“Obtaining SmartThings certifications for our growing Wave lineup reinforces our position as an innovator in the IoT market,” Svetlin Todorov, CEO of Shelly USA, said. “By focusing on compatibility and user-centric design, Shelly Group ensures that users can easily manage and expand their home automation systems without being restricted by brand or platform limitations.”

With these latest certifications, Shelly Group now offers a total of 10 Shelly Wave products that integrate with SmartThings. This enables users to control, monitor, and automate a broader range of Shelly devices—spanning power metering plugs, smart switches and professional DIN rail smart switches through SmartThings.

“We’re excited with the expansion of Shelly Group’s Wave product line within the SmartThings ecosystem,” said Mark Benson, head of SmartThings US. “These new certifications provide our users with even more options for creating a seamless, energy-efficient, and fully connected smart home experience.”

The newly certified Wave devices bring increased functionality and convenience to the SmartThings ecosystem. Designed to meet diverse home automation needs, the expanded lineup features a range of powerful yet compact devices, each equipped with advanced features that promote energy efficiency, safety, and user-friendly automation. These devices leverage the Z-Wave protocol, which ensures reliable connectivity and interoperability with other SmartThings-compatible devices.
