Screen Innovations first introduced low-voltage motorized screens to the CEDIA channel in 2017 and recently expanded this motor technology into their entire line of motorized screens.

Motorized screens powered by structured cable are widely favored by integrators worldwide thanks to its global standardization. Additionally, SI’s new low-voltage offering proves its versatility with compatibility to any type of low-voltage wire through JANUS, an all-new ultra-high-density eight-shade power and control hub.

In addition to the advancement of low-voltage technology, SI has also simultaneously expanded the maximum size of their motorized screens up to 16 feet wide by 10 feet tall. SI combines Slate XL, which was developed from the widely popular Black Diamond technology, with the new large motorized offering to create the number one motorized screen solution that consistently delivers repeatable, reliable results and provides a true solution for large environments with ambient light.

To complete the push for global standards, SI adds Zigbee 3.0 to their Solo line of ultra-compact screens. SI’s Zigbee 3.0 wireless offering is a complete ecosystem enabling robust and secure multi-way communication over a self-healing mesh network.
