Architectural audio manufacturer Sonance announced a new line of speakers in its Visual Experience Series. The new Thin-Line models expand the VX lineup with an even slimmer profile and represent a “breakthrough in architectural audio,” according to Sonance.
In a statement, Sonance said that the speakers will deliver the company’s signature room-filling sound from a product with a profile narrow enough to fit inside of a 2.5-inch metal framing.
“With the Visual Experience Thin-Line Series, we’ve pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in architectural audio,” Skylar Gray, Director of Product Management at Sonance, said in a statement. “By reducing depth by an additional 3mm versus our previous generation of Thin-Line speakers while maintaining the acoustic excellence our customers expect, we’ve created a solution that meets the demands of modern construction without compromising on sound quality.”
The company was able to fit the Thin-Line model into a slimmer frame without having to compromise on any of the other features that have made the Visual Experience Series a favorite among integrators. Installers can still expect:
- VX Transducer Technology that delivers higher performance and fidelity
- VX Waveguides to ensure consistent tonality and improved coverage throughout the space
- VX Grilles that offer both micro trim and trimless options in Sonance Brilliant White
The Thin-Line Series is available in both in-ceiling and in-wall configurations. The product is available today through authorized Sonance dealers and distributors.
