Dual Sonos Subs can now be paired to a Sonos Arc, Beam, Playbar, Playbase, or Amp owners in a home theater setup. According Sonos, the ability to pair a second Sonos Subs has been a frequently requested feature by customers and professional installation partners.
Sonos thinks that this update will be good news for the bass-obsessed to add even deeper, richer bass to their movie nights, TV binges, and dance parties.
Dual Sonos Sub Update Requires S2 App
The update for pairing dual Sonos Subs is only available as an option in the S2 app, and at least one of the Subs in the setup must be a Sub (Gen 3) due to its added processing power.
The necessary software update will roll out in app stores December 8, so customers will need to make sure they have the latest version of S2 to unlock this feature.
