SwitchBot has been in business since 2016 with a focus on products that make the existing items in your home smart. SwitchBot has announced that it is expanding its support for the Home Assistant Platform this year. Home Assistant is an open-source smart home platform that supports local control and highly customizable automation.
More than 45 SwitchBot products, across three different product lines, will be integrated with Home Assistant in the first half of 2025. The product lines include SwitchBot household robots. SwitchBot comfort devices, and SwitchBot Security devices.
Integration will take place using a mixture of Bluetooth, Cloud integration, and the Matter smart home standard. Some of the devices being integrated include:
- SwitchBot Curtain and Curtain 3
- SwitchBot Blind Tilt
- SwitchBot Roller Shade
- SwitchBot Air Purifier and Air Purifier Table
- SwitchBot Mini Robot Vacuume K10+ and K10+ Pro
- SwitchBot Floor Cleaning Robot S10
- SwitchBot Multitasking Household Robot K20+ Pro
- SwitchBot Bot
- SwitchBot Lock and Lock Pro
- And many more devices
