Trying to keep a tech journalist’s email inbox clean during a show like High End Munich 2025 seems like an impossible task. There’ve been countless releases and announcements dropped over the past few days as the HiFi audio industry gathered for one of their largest and most important global shows on the calendar.
Here’s a quick rundown of all the different new product launches that we’ve heard about from this year’s event, which runs May 15-18. (And we’ll continue to update this as more come in.)
iFi
Known for their beastly yet transportable audio processors, iFi rolled out some smaller-yet-still-powerful tech at High End Munich 2025. The new iFi GO Pod Air is a more compact and affordable version of the GO Pod, but iFi says it still deliveries the same exceptional audio quality. The GO Pods can connect to the user’s favorite IEMs via one of many ear loop options, converting them into Hi-Res Bluetooth capable powerhouse earbuds.
Additionally, iFi rolled out a new UP Travel Bluetooth DAC that can simplify on-the-go HiFi solutions, serving as a Hi-Res Bluetooth transmitter and receiver. The device is incredibly compact weighing just 25 grams, but its 10-hour battery life keeps things going throughout a lengthy flight or trip.
Warwick Acoustics
A developer of the Electrostatic Audio Systems that have made waves (no pun intended) in the high-end consumer and automotive audio markets, Warwick introduced their APERIO GoldenSound Signature Edition headphone system during High End Munich 2025. Retuned by leading audio expert GoldenSound, the system pairs the Gen 2 BD-HPEL transducers with enhanced analog pathways for a “radically new take” on the APERIO sound.
JBL
HARMAN Luxury Audio Group dropped three new additions to the JBL Summit Series of loudspeakers during High End Munich 2025. The expanded series now includes five models. The new entrants (all continuing in the naming convention of the highest peaks across the globe) include: Makalu, the flagship of the new entrants, with its 12-inch woofer and 8-inch midrange driver; the Pumori with a 10-inch woofer and 8-inch mid; and Ama, a compact, two-way stand-mount loudspeaker with an 8-inch HC4 cone woofer and a D2 compression driver. They’ll be available globally later this year and range from $19,995, to $29,995, and up to $44,995.
WiiM
WiiM added several products to its lineup during High End Munich 2025. Among them is the new WiiM Amp Ultra, a streaming amplifier that’s capable of delivering 200W per channel at 4 ohms with ultra-low distortion and rich, audiophile-grade sound. Additionally, WiiM rolled out its first-ever smart speaker and subwoofer, the WiiM Sound and WiiM Sub Pro. The company said the launch marked a “pivotal turning point” in the WiiM ecosystem, giving users a more deeply connected and personalized audio experience throughout the home. The smart speaker comes complete with a touch display, while the sub delivers over 250W of power.
SVS
High End Munich 2025 was the first opportunity for the public to experience SVS’s new Ultra Evolution speakers together with their new 17-Ultra and 5000 R|Evolution subwoofers outside the U.S. since their launch. At the show, SVS set up both a two-channel audiophile systems and a home theater surround sound system for users to experience the product, along with static product displays.
