Access Networks Adds Two New Enterprise-Grade Wi-Fi 6 Certified Wireless Access Points

Access Networks is evolving its offerings to deliver enterprise-grade networking home networking solutions that support the latest Wi-Fi standard, Wi-Fi 6. The newest additions to Access Networks’ Wi-Fi 6 lineup include the Ruckus R550 and R850 wireless access points.

Like the company’s previously announced A750 Wi-Fi 6 access point, the Ruckus-brand models elevate Wi-Fi performance from “gigabit” to “multi-gigabit” Wi-Fi to support the demand for better and faster Wi-Fi as millions of families work and learn from home.

Because networking requirements vary by the size of home, number of users and devices, and bandwidth demands, the availability of three Wi-Fi 6 certified access points by Access Networks allows integrators and consumers to choose a Wi-Fi 6 solution that best fits their home and lifestyle. Designed for large homes with high internet traffic is the most robust WAP in the line, the R850 wireless access point. The R550 supports homes and Wi-Fi demands of smaller scope, while the A750 caters to mid-range applications.

“Access Networks is committed to providing our partners with high-performance networking solutions that deliver incredible speed, coverage, and security, while providing first-class purchasing and support interaction. Wi-Fi 6-enabled products allow us to continue to elevate that experience,” said Access Networks CSO, Bryce Nordstrand. “The introduction of two new Wi-Fi 6 certified access points allows us to better serve all segments of the market, from the everyday project to the most extreme situations. Together with our dealer partners, we can help households working and learning from home enjoy a more trouble-free Wi-Fi experience.”

Both the R550 and R850 are available with an Access Networks wireless control hub for a complete, managed Wi-Fi solution, with Unleashed (no controller necessary) versions available very soon. Later this year Access Networks will introduce two Access Networks-branded options. Details about ship dates and the future availability of new Access Networks-branded Wi-Fi 6 Certified access points will be made available during CEDIA Expo Virtual Experience, September 15-17, 2020.

The R550, R850, and A750 wireless access points and other Access Networks products are now available on their online store, MyAccess, at my.accessnetworks.com.
