CEDIA Creates House of Power Residential Energy Webinar Series

June 2nd, 2022 Jeremy Glowacki

CEDIA, the global association for the home technology industry, has created a free two-part “House of Power” webinar series exploring residential energy trends and business opportunities for integrators. The global webinars will be held on June 29 and July 13.

Each session will include a welcome from CEDIA Senior Director of Technology and Standards Walt Zerbe and an analysis of the residential power and energy market presented by Parks Associates Senior Analyst Chris White, followed by a roundtable discussion among industry experts.

House of Power Session One: Power Management and Monitoring

On June 29 at 11:00 AM EDT (15:00 UTC), panelists from leading residential power companies will discuss the evolution of power management, the needs of the consumer at both the mid-market and luxury levels, and the ever-growing business opportunities for the integrator channel.

Panelists:

  • Joseph Piccirilli, CEO and Managing Director, RoseWater Energy Group
  • Rene Rieck, Global Product Marketing Manager, Alexander Maier GmbH
  • Blair Piersall, Vice President of Sales, Savant Power
  • Adam Weinstein, Senior National Sales Manager, Sonnen

House of Power Session Two: Energy Creation and Storage

On July 13, 11:00 AM EDT (15:00 UTC), panelists from leading residential power and technology companies will discuss energy creation and storage in all its forms (wind, solar, generator, and geothermal), battery technologies, and ways to use electric vehicles as home backup.

Panelists:

  • Joseph Piccirilli, CEO and Managing Director, RoseWater Energy Group
  • André Hänel, System and Tools Manager, KNX
  • Anna Demeo, Ph.D., President, Savant Power
  • Adam Weinstein, Senior National Sales Manager, Sonnen
  • William Schnell, Marketing Manager for Residential Systems, Kohler

“Technology in the home is growing to unprecedented levels, and the role of the integrator is more important than ever,” said CEDIA Director of Strategic Partnerships Ian Bryant. “Connected and integrated power and energy systems are experiencing wide adoption by consumers and the building community alike. Integrators now have an opportunity to diversify their business offerings and bring new value, convenience, and security to the homes of their clients. We are very excited about the upcoming discussions at House of Power and intend to keep the conversation going by finding ways CEDIA can support integrators as they delve into this category.”
