CEDIA Expo, the convention and product exhibition for residential technology integration, designers and construction professionals, will once again include an Innovation Hub, which is a series of moderated sessions focused on emerging technologies and industry-trending presentations from show exhibitors.
The Innovation Hub will feature topics focused on “resimercial,” work from home, outdoor living, lighting, and security solutions.
The Innovation Hub will present more than 25 sessions over three days. Guided by industry influencers, the sessions will offer insights from brands and organizations that have experienced success in new market segments, including AVPro Global, Broan-NuTone, Delos Living, Dynamat Inc., HAB Home Intelligence, Hubitat Inc., IMCCA, Jabra, Living in Place Institute (LIPI), and VOC Instrumentation.
“The Innovation Hub will feature powerful programming on new technology and emerging trends to provide insightful opportunities for integrators, designers, builders, and residential channel professionals to drive business forward,” said Jason McGraw, CTS, group vice president for CEDIA Expo and KBIS, Emerald.
CEDIA Expo has identified key growth areas for the residential technology industry to develop sessions focused on emerging technologies and trending market segments. The crossover between residential and commercial integration, coined “resimercial,” has created an increased opportunity. Emerging technology application segments, including work from home, outdoor living, lighting, and security, are offering new business expansion opportunities.
IMCCA (Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative Communications Alliance), a supporting association partner, will assist CEDIA Expo with developing, organizing, and moderating content session discussions on unified communications and work from home topics.
