ProSource, the audio, video, and integration buying group, will feature vendor partner DMF Lighting solutions at its Lighting Technology and Learning Center (LTLC) in the Dallas Market Center, which is set to open in Q1 2021.

The DMF Lighting display will include DID Series lighting modules, OneFrame and SquareFrame recessed lighting systems, the DCC LED Cylinder, and DRD5 LED downlights.

DMF Lighting Engineered for Custom Integration

The all-new DID Series is engineered exclusively for the custom integration channel. DID takes modularity to the next level by providing field-changeable optics and accessories for both downlights and adjustable accent lights.

The series includes proprietary integrated power systems for simplified installation, soft on/off, and smooth dimming down to one percent with local or centralized control systems. DMF Lighting has engineered every element of the light modules to be interchangeable in the field, during and after installation.

The signature modular design allows the modules to adapt to changing homeowner preferences, future room designs, and even retrofits.

Accurate Color Rendering with Low Power Consumption

With only two modules and thousands of applications, the DID Series is the evolution of an earlier system. The light modules combine accurate color rendering with low power consumption for high energy efficiency, while complementing and enhancing how a room looks and feels.

The DID Series addresses all layers of light required by an architectural downlighting solution, including ambient, task, and accent lighting.

“We are delighted to be a featured vendor partner of the ProSource Lighting Technology and Learning Center,” said Mike Libman, DMF lighting national sales director, residential systems. “In addition to the hands-on live Level 2 curriculum for the exclusive ProSource Lighting Technology Certification program, the space provides an opportunity for Dallas Market Center retail and design-build customers to learn about lighting applications and advancements, and is available for individual ProSource members and vendors to host exclusive influencer and customer events.”

The DID Series powers DMF Lighting’s OneFrame and SquareFrame systems. OneFrame and SquareFrame meet every building code relative to a recessed light fixture. They are fire rated, STC/IIC sound rated, IC rated, air-tight, and wet location and DID4 damp location rated. The DCC Cylinder wall-mount fixture used in the Lighting and Learning Center is also available in cord, stem, and surface-mount configurations in decorative shades with various trim accessories.

DRD5 LED Downlights Included

Also featured in the LTLC will be the DRD5 LED downlights, which provide an elegant, architectural solution for surface-mount fixtures. They easily mount into DMF Lighting’s Surface Frame or a standard 3O or 4O junction box, are closet rated, and offer dimming to 5 percent. The downlights are available in 4-inch round/square, 8-inch round, or 18×4-inch rectangle.

“DMF Lighting impressed us right out of the gate with their unique OneFrame system, and we are thrilled that they are a part of the LTLC Experience Center,” said David Warfel, chief evangelist, Light Can Help You. “We love the modularity and clean engineering of their products and chose their trimless fixtures because of their easy installation. We have been huge fans of the DRD4 adjustable LED module in our design practice and are even more excited about the integrator-only upgrade, the DID4.”
