ecobee smart thermostats have been a consumer favorite in that specific residential tech category due to their ENERGY STAR-approved ability to harmonize a home’s heating and cooling. Now, SnapAV is giving all of its partner access to the product line.

The newly available ecobee product line includes three smart thermostat models, sensors, junction box adapters, and a power extender. This lineup offers SnapAV partners a thermostat solution that learns user habits to deliver enhanced comfort and cut energy costs by an average of 23 percent annually.

“Every SnapAV partner and project deserves the latest and greatest solutions, and ecobee’s smart thermostats provide class-leading climate control for standalone installations, as well as integrating with existing smart home systems, including Control4,” said Mike Jordan, senior VP of control & entertainment at SnapAV. “By carrying this popular brand, SnapAV partners can now respond quickly to specific client requests with online availability and same-day pickup at SnapAV Local Pro Stores.”

“SnapAV’s wide array of product offerings are designed to make contractor setup seamless and enable amazing homeowner experiences,” said Derrick Boyce, executive VP of sales for ecobee. “Their network of partners allows consumers to upgrade their homes with ecobee products, while offering the same peace of mind that comes with professional installation.”

Program ecobee Through the App

ecobee’s ENERGY STAR certified thermostats harmonize a home’s heating and cooling, delivering improved comfort and simplicity while significantly reducing energy use. The thermostats are simple to control and program through the ecobee smartphone app and through leading smart home system interfaces, provide alerts on system health, push notifications for unexpected changes in temperature, and room-specific monitoring through ecobee SmartSensors.

In addition to the products’ attractive on-wall appearance, learning capabilities and remote and voice control options, ecobee also offers dealers better margins than any other standalone smart thermostat.

The ecobee mobile app offers users full mobile control of their home’s temperature whether they are lying in bed or on their way home from the airport.

The ecobee3 lite Pro provides intelligent climate control that learns users’ preferences and suggests schedule changes, while the SmartThermostat Pro with voice control adds built-in Alexa and the ecobee EMS Si Thermostat is compatible with wired sensors for monitoring temperature in walk-in fridges and freezers.

What’s more, ecobee’s API enables seamless integration with the Control4 system, in which case the SmartSensors can also act as room occupancy sensors for even greater simplicity and comfort.
