DIVA UTOPIA is Focal’s first wireless, connected, active loudspeaker. This model is the result of five years of development, combining pure hi-fi sound, unique design, cutting-edge Naim electronics, and the latest wireless technologies for unparalleled usability and freedom.
DIVA UTOPIA is a three-way bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeaker designed to be simple to install and use, with no need for cables to connect the pair or external amplification. Ultra Wideband, a unique technology co-developed with a partner company, enables wireless music playback of exceptional sound quality, surpassing CD playback and approaching the high-resolution audio of a professional studio. For convenience, the DIVA UTOPIA can be controlled via a dedicated app, the supplied remote control, or voice assistants.

DIVA UTOPIA combines Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and UPnP protocols for connectivity and access to a wide range of streaming platforms: Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, QQ Music (China). It is easy to connect to a television, providing a new way to enjoy movies and video games, or it can be linked to various other inputs, including vinyl turntables. The loudspeaker seamlessly integrates into the complete Focal and Naim ecosystem, allowing set up of a home multiroom configuration that can be controlled with just a few clicks using a dedicated app. It can also be paired with home automation systems for seamless integration into smart homes. With DIVA UTOPIA, the sound is pure and accessible.
DIVA UTOPIA speaker drivers are equipped with the “W” cone, a patented innovation that delivers precise sound. The beryllium M-profile tweeter delivers high-frequency reproduction with more accuracy. The loudspeaker also benefits from the best of Naim electronics, including 400-watt power amplification and a new streaming architecture (up to 348kHz/32bits) offering sound reproduction of unparalleled quality, capturing each and every musical nuance.
In designing DIVA UTOPIA, Focal has created a musically and visually sensational loudspeaker to deliver total listening pleasure. Nothing has been left to chance in its conception. The loudspeaker has a unique, refined design. The bass speaker drivers are placed subtly on the sides, and the floating side panels sit behind a signature divide that features a backlit logo.
Utopia design codes can be found at the heart of this loudspeaker, such as the red and black double grille on the tweeter as well as a brushed aluminum “ribbon” encircling it to represent a symbolic Yin & Yang, evoking harmony between expertise and technology. As a whole, the model resembles a ‘signature watch’. The distinct design extends to the felt material chosen for the side panels, an elegant material with minimal environmental impact.
