The ProSource audio, video, and integration buying group has extended free access to ProSource University (PSU) for all members through September 2021.
As the industry is experiencing unprecedented growth due to current conditions, PSU is needed now more than ever to facilitate this expansion by providing the industry’s first platform that offers exclusive ProSource training, a repository of vendor trainings, as well as access to CEDIA educational content.
Since its launch earlier this year, PSU has been a valuable asset to those members utilizing the platform to train and develop current and new employees in a singular, cohesive environment.
PSU recently released an exclusive Lighting Technology Certification Program and a Project Management Certification Program and will continue to develop additional content including courses covering sales, leadership development, operations, and more.
“I find the PSU learning system to be valuable on multiple levels,” said Jeff Blundell, manager, technical operations, ESC-T/D at ListenUp. “As a manager, it provides a guided path for various roles that can be personalized for our organization. As an instructor/supervisor, the content can be assigned to employees for their individual scenarios with easy oversight by the supervisory team. As a learner, it is easy to navigate and gives a sense of accomplishment in addition to the valuable content.”
“What I appreciate most is the thoughtful variety and specialty of courses,” said Michelle Ferlauto COO, SoundVision LLC. “There are education courses for every member of your staff regardless of position.”
“PSU has been an invaluable site for World Wide Stereo. The online resources have been the keystone in centralizing our training process, whether it’s for a new hire or seasoned technicians (old dogs can learn new tricks),” said Brian Sowden, technical field supervisor, World Wide Stereo. “It has allowed us to create content as needed, organize and track our virtual meetings, and assess the training progress of our employees. We’ve had so much success in our installation department that we are starting to ramp up our curriculum to expand into our online support team, sales, customer service, marketing, etc.”
