Josh.ai Ready Wallplate Designed for Lutron Keypads

August 18th, 2021 Jeremy Glowacki

The Josh.ai Ready Wallplate combines the elegance of Lutron keypads, along with the flexibility of Josh Nano, the world’s first architectural microphone, to bring beauty, simplicity, and privacy to all luxury projects.

“By adding this solution on projects, dealers are providing endless possibilities to their clients and giving homeowners an aesthetically pleasing solution that is at the forefront of innovation,” said Samuel Chambers, senior director of luxury residential at Lutron.

Josh.ai Ready Wallplate Blends Lighting and Voice Control

The Josh.ai Ready Wallplate delivers the ability to control a variety of home technology with voice, while maintaining tactile control for the most used scenes, accessible at the touch of a button through keypads. For example, clients can push a pre-programmed “Relax” button on their keypad and now also access the nearly 16.7 million colors from Ketra, simply by saying what they want.

Compatible with Palladiom, seeTouch, and Pico

The Josh.ai Ready Wallplate will be compatible with Palladiom, seeTouch, and Pico keypads, with Palladiom metal and plastic finish options.

All projects with the Josh.ai Ready Wallplate will require a Lutron lighting control processor, as well as a Josh Core, which integrate seamlessly together to bridge both voice and the touch of a keypad.Josh.ai Ready Lutron

In addition, each room where the wallplate is installed will require a speaker capable of connecting to Josh via VoiceLink or VoiceCast, which lets you send Josh’s response through high-quality speakers.

As with all Josh.ai products, end-clients can rest assured that their data is kept private and safe, and will never be shared or used for marketing purposes. “Josh.ai is proud to partner with Lutron, a leader and innovator in our industry. One of the biggest benefits of voice is turning complicated tasks into simple ones,” says Josh.ai CEO Alex Capecelatro. “With these new keypads, you not only get the elegant experience of tactile control from Lutron, but you also can now control nearly everything in your home from the same keypad, all without compromising privacy and security.”

This new wallplate solution will be available to order and ship from Lutron in Fall 2021. Josh Nano and Lutron keypads sold separately.
