Looking to find new ways to stay connected in a time of canceled events and social distancing, Leon announced today the launch of a new video series called Leon Live. The series will stream to Leon’s social media channels from their brand new, in-house broadcast studio, and will feature content ranging from new product releases to music performances and interviews, art and design inspiration, local community initiatives, and more.
Leon Live will kick-off on Thursday, October 1 at 7:45 pm EST on Facebook with an exclusive interview and short performance by Nashville musician, Devon Gilfillian, that will then lead into a livestream benefit concert at 8 pm that Devon is hosting called, “There’s An Election Going On.”

The concert will feature Devon, a 10-piece band, and several guest artists covering Marvin Gaye’s iconic 1971 album “What’s Going On,” front-to-back. The event is raising funds for The Equity Alliance, a non-profit that fights voter suppression in low-income communities and communities of color and will be put on in partnership with HeadCount to help register voters during the concert.
“The DNA of Leon Speakers is all about sharing art and music, and while we can’t be together in person right now, we can still find creative ways to stay connected,” said Noah Kaplan, Leon’s founder and president. “With Leon Live, we’ll be able to bring the Leon culture to you—wherever you are in the world—and we’re really excited to be kicking off the series with one of our favorite musicians and Leon Loft alumni artists, Devon Gilfillian.”
Tune in to Leon’s Facebook page on Thursday, October 1, at 7:45 pm EST, to watch Leon Live. Future episodes will air monthly on Leon’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels.
