Origin Acoustics, manufacturer of architectural audio products, is expanding its focus and product line in the professional AV marketplace with the launch of its new brand, Origin Pro. Origin Pro has appointed U.S. Pro AV distributor Starin as its exclusive commercial distributor.
The new brand and division will be managed by Joe Whitaker, the new VP of commercial. Whitaker previously held the position of VP of business development at Origin Acoustics.
Starin is set to exclusively distribute the entire Origin Pro line of current commercial audio products as well as new professional models that will be debuted at CEDIA Expoin Denver.

Origin Pro line will include three form factors: in-ceiling, surface mount, and pendants, in three sizes 5″, 6″, and 8″, as well as an 8″ subwoofer for in-ceiling and pendant form factors. All Origin Pro models include the certifications required by the commercial installation market.
