Ring Access Controller Pro 2 is the second-generation of a device that makes it easier to remotely grant gate access to visitors.

Now you can control your gate from the Ring app and let friends, family, and service professionals in from anywhere, whether you are home or away. Plus, connect with an optional Ring Video Doorbell or Security Camera to see, hear, and speak to visitors from Live View.

It supports both cellular and Ethernet connectivity in one single device, enabling customers to unlock their electronically controlled gate and offers secure, in-gate delivery services with Key by Amazon.

Smaller Form Factor Ring Access ControllerRing Access Controller Pro 2

Ring Access Controller Pro 2 features a smaller form factor for a sleeker look and easier installation for gated single-family homes or small, multi-unit apartment buildings.

It enhances existing, compatible electrical access gates and enables customers to remotely operate entryways directly from their Ring app, as well as receive secure, in-gate, eligible Amazon package deliveries via Key by Amazon.

Connecting to Ring Video Doorbells

Customers can also connect Ring Access Controller Pro 2 to Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cams to see, hear, and speak with visitors before letting them in. Even without a Ring Video Doorbell or Camera set up with Ring Access Controller Pro 2, you can still use it with Key by Amazon. Customers can control their delivery preferences via the Key by Amazon app.

While Ring is a well-known DIY brand, the company also offers an “X Line” of installer-only products with additional features, making them ideal for up-selling into custom projects.

X Line bundles include additional features like a Ring Protect Lifetime Basic Plan limited to the useful lifetime of device and a three-year limited warranty, and certain X Line SKUs are compatible with Power over Ethernet. Other products feature either hardwired, battery, or solar-powered options for added convenience.

Ring Access Controller Pro 2 is available in the U.S. on Ring.com and Amazon.com for $299.00, and professional installation is recommended, but not required.
