Vanco International has introduced the EVSW4K41 Evolution 4K 4×1 multi-format collaboration switcher, which was designed for seamless switching from multiple wired or wireless presenters to one display.
Miracast and Airplay allow users to cast wirelessly from BYOD computers, tablets, and mobile devices to the display. In addition to wireless input, the EVSW4K41 features two HDMI inputs and a USB Type-C input for full 4K video transmission, data, and charging. The EVSW4K41’s soft codec integrates with all major videoconferencing software.
“Workers are returning to in-person offices primarily to collaborate with their peers, and our industry is charged with deploying solutions that make the most of that face time,” said Brandon White, director of new product development at Vanco International. “This switch is designed to make collaborating with both in-person and remote participants simple and natural.”
The EVSW4K41 supports HDMI 2.0b, 4K@60Hz, 4:4:4, HDR 10, Dolby Vision, and HDCP 2.3. It has two USB type-B ports for host connection, and two USB type-A ports for directly connecting peripherals such as cameras, microphones, or keyboards.
The switch detects active inputs in “auto” mode. Users can easily switch inputs using front panel buttons or RS-232 commands. It also includes built-in audio de-embedding to break out audio to an amplifier or audio distribution system.
The new EVSW4K41 Evolution 4K 4×1 multi-format collaboration switcher is a nimble solution for huddle spaces, conference rooms, and presentation spaces.
