Catalyst AV, distribution network, the HTSA buying group, and Cleerline SSF, manufacturers of fiber optic technology, have formed an industry coalition. Catalyst AV will act as a fulfillment center for Cleerline products as they move to HTSA dealer members.

Cleerline Technology Group works to improve all forms of fiber optic technology, providing end-to-end solutions for every fiber optic installation. The offers SSF fiber optic cable, connectors, termination tools, enclosures, and HDMI AOC cables, and more.

“The Catalyst AV initiative with HTSA started with AVPro,” said Helge Fischer, Catalyst AV executive director. “Catalyst AV provided service and close warehousing. The program has already been a great success and for that reason we extended the same offer to HTSA and Cleerline.

According to Fischer, the basic idea is to service the members of HTSA and provide local inventory and profitability to the dealers.”

Dealers experience reduced wait times for product and are already comfortable with the Catalyst AV group, as they are already business partners.

The Catalyst AV/Cleerline fulfillment deal starts August 1.

“Cleerline is excited to join HTSA as a fiber optic connectivity provider,” added Ryan Prentice, managing partner, Cleerline SSF. “This coalition is a great benefit for Cleerline, as Catalyst AV brings the fiber closer and faster to the consumer. Having the opportunity to educate and work with the top residential integrators on the benefits of using fiber optics in their installations will be a win-win for both Cleerline and HTSA members. The outstanding distribution network that is Catalyst AV makes this entire effort doable and a complete benefit to the HTSA members.”

HTSA executive director Jon Robbins noted that his organization feels very fortunate to have partnered with “one of the true innovators” in the world of fiber optic technology.

“Their philosophy of supplying state-of-the-art products through education of dealers matches perfectly with the HTSA endeavors that have been paramount over the past several years,” he said. “Added to this unique partnership is the involvement of Catalyst AV distribution network, which will bring procurement of these high technology products to a very high level.”

Catalyst AV is comprised of nine privately-owned distribution companies:

  • AHA Distributing (Florida and Southeast)
  • AM Distributors (Wisconsin and parts of Illinois)
  • Audio Video Warehouse (Nevada, Arizona)
  • Custom Partners (Metro-NY)
  • Dorrance Supply Company (Ohio/W. PA/W. VA/IN and KY)
  • HCA Distributing (Rocky Mountains)
  • Just In Time Distribution Inc. (Michigan)
  • Mid-State Distributing (MO, IA, NE, KS, MN, SD, and ND)
