Hunter Douglas returned to CEDIA Expo last week to unveil their Custom Integrator Program (CIP) and demo their technology platform with their custom shade line.
The Hunter Douglas Custom Integrator Program gives home technology professionals access to the complete Hunter Douglas portfolio of world-class window treatment designs. It brings a custom approach with color, fabric, size, and shape choices to suit any smart home, theater, or whole-home project instead of offering one shade to fit most installations.
CIP is open to authorized integrators of home control systems such as Elan, Control4, Crestron, Savant, RTI, or URC, and begins with CIP sales and installer training, which provides instruction and education on things like shade sizing and configurations, impact of color and fabric choices on natural light control, and best practices for integrating the advanced Hunter Douglas PowerView motorized shades into any automation project.
Integrators in the program will benefit from quoting tools, discounted shades for their own home, and custom display discounts, along with access to online ordering on Hunter Douglas’s portal.

The PowerView Motorization wireless operating system allows users to raise or lower shades in the app or using the Pebble Remote Control or create scenes.
