SunBriteTV Veranda Series Adds Key Component to Virginia Home’s Balcony

Homeowners across the country are looking for unique ways to transform their existing living spaces into relaxing home getaways. For one Virginia couple, this meant transforming their lavish three-story home to become an outdoor oasis designed for entertainment, relaxation and everything in between. The main attraction? A new outdoor television on the balcony outside the primary bedroom, right above the fireplace allowing the couple to enjoy their favorite shows year-round, day or night.

To bring the home transformation to life, the homeowners worked closely with Andre Saunders, sales and design consultant of Richmond, VA, custom integration company, Livewire. Saunders understood a key factor in the renovation was creating an environment unlike any other room in the home while simultaneously maximizing the value of existing outdoor spaces. To achieve this plan, Saunders looked to SnapOne’s SunBriteTV brand to outfit the third-floor balcony.

“Having an all-weather TV from SunBriteTV means I can give my customers the luxury, high-performance outdoor entertainment of their dreams while ensuring they won’t worry about Virginia’s extreme temperatures, unexpected storms, bugs, spider webs, dirt and contaminants,” Saunders said. “Long-lasting reliability and 4K resolution are both primary factors in Livewire’s choice to continue to utilize SunBriteTV for outdoor installations.”

For the Virginia home’s shaded balcony, Saunders chose a 55-inch Veranda Series 4K HDR UHD TV mounted above a chic minimalistic fireplace and in front of a full-size hot tub. The TV provides the homeowners with up to 50% more brightness than an indoor TV, so they won’t need to worry about glare, even on sunny days.

“Many customers think you can place an indoor TV outside and achieve the same experience,” Saunders noted. “However, the warranty on almost all indoor TVs is void if that happens. We really take the time to educate our customers during installs and let them know that choosing all-weather products like a SunBrite TV is the ideal solution. They’re going to last longer, they can be permanently installed outdoors, and they create an overall better viewing experience than an indoor TV could.”

The protective powder-coated aluminum exterior protects the home’s outdoor TV from harsh elements. The SunBriteTV receives video signal through an HDBaseT input and integrates with Control4 to power the display on and off while in-ceiling architectural speakers surround the balcony to elevate the viewing experience. All components, including cable boxes and video sources, reside inside of the primary bedroom suite, eliminating the need for outdoor electrical cabinets.

“The homeowners are very happy with their new outdoor TV and spa on the balcony. We know SunBriteTV will stand the test of time and provide the couple with year-round entertainment for years to come,” Saunders noted.
